I just setup a Win2000 server on our network, at first the Mac clients
could not setup the printers shared from the server. I had to set the
printers up a second time and capture the printer port before the Macs
could use the printers. However, once I captured the Printer ports the
    HP-DesignJets 750 & 755 are no longer visible to Win98 and Win95 machines
connected to the Server (Win2000 clients can see them)

We wish to force the Macs to print through the sever, instead of directly
to the printer over Appletalk, so that we can monitor and charge for
    printer usage.

Can anyone tell me why just the plotters are not visible to 95 & 98
clients? Does it have anything to do with capturing the printer ports?
Is there a better way to setup network printers for both platforms?
Does anyone know if I can force Mac clients to provide an NT user Name and
Password before printing to a networked printer?

Any and All suggestions will be Greatly Appreciated.
    Thanks

    Jeff Thomas
