FWIW, we have a LaserWriter Select 360 that uses the LocalTalk port for
Chooser prints, the serial port for DEC mainframe prints, and the parallel
port for Windows prints. We have no problems with it, although I wish
someone would spring the $150 to buy a print server that handles it all.
(Much cleaner that way.) Multiple ports can be done, we do it, doesn't mean
it looks pretty...
