    I think what you need is an Asante EtherPrint or Dayna EtherPrint. These devices basically make your older Apple printer a network printer by connecting the printer's serial cable up to this box and then the box connects to the network via ethernet. You can print to them from any computer on the network. Asante still sells these things new though I'm sure you could find one used on eBay or LEM Swap for $20-$30.
