I have a dual boot (Win 2k and SuSE 7.3 Pro) box, that has two Ethernet cards
installed. On the Lin side, I have eth0 setup to connect via DHCP to a
LinkSys router and cable modem to access the Internet. eth1 is an Asante
10/100 FriendlyNet card and it is to this card that I have directed netatalk
to use by ediing the /etc/atalk/atalkd.conf file. I have set my PB 1400 to
use ATalk over ethernet, netalk is set to start when SuSE 7.3 starts
(rc.config) and I have confirmed it is running. The hub I am using for this
hook seems to confirm that the driver is function and that there is a
connection. YAST 2 says my eth1 is active, checked cables, etc. but nothing
seems to be happening. BTW, eth1 is assigned a static IP 192.168.1.1

Cheers,

Brian
