Has anyone had success sending Word (Office 98 version) attachments to Windows users via AOL? AOL5 (last build probably), Beige G3 MT with OS8.6.

I have neither AOL nor Word, so the tests we've run are a little time-consuming. We've tried saving as RTF and also *95* compatible in Word's Save As options.

The files get mangled, with massive headers and footers appearing on the received document.

Compression is not an option. I'm aware of the underlying issues of e-mail, and the fact that many to most people never get this to work reliably. I'm just wondering if anyone has a succesful recipe.
