Make sure that the switch port is not set to 100 full and the client to
autonegotiate (for the server or Mac). Doing so will cause a duplex
mismatch. The mac should be set in an Auto-negotiate port, and the server
should either be Auto-negotiate at both ends or locks the same at both ends.
We had a HUGE problem with the thruput of our servers until we caught that.
The server said it was 100 full, and the switch was locked at 100 full, but
in reality the server had a 10 0half connection, the mismatch in duplex
causes all kinds of wacky stuff.
