    Sounds fishy to me too. If by "Internet access works" you mean "web
    access works" on both clients and server, then you almost certainly have
    a configuration problem that won't be helped by re-installation.

    It is difficult to diagnose your problem without more information. In
    particular, what version of Wingate do you use? How is it configured?

    For example, you would get the symptoms you describe if Wingate is setup
    with a mapped link to your IMAP server, and the IMAP clients is
    configured as if they are directly connected to the Internet. The IMAP
    client on the Celvin works because it IS directly connected. IMAP
    clients on a Wingate network should be configured to get their mail from
    the Celvin, NOT the original IMAP server.
