    Hi again,

Apologies all around if the following question is OT, but it isn't a
server/admin thing and these topics may grow in the future with the use of
OS X/Darwin/BSD and Linux/Unix or phrasing it another way, as the OS's come
closer together with only the hardware continuing to be the "Great Divide".

Is there any commercial anti virus software out there for Linux or do you
    have to roll your own?

I bought the Red Hat Linux 7 for Dummies book (this includes Red Hat
installation CD's) lately and have been playing around with Red Hat Linux 7
since. I like what I see in principle, which includes a graphic install and
the new GNOME interface, but OS X it is not.

I think the thing I like best about Linux is being able to use old PC
hardware (Pentium I as an example) and getting something more powerful from
the sum total than is available with an install of Win 98 SE, ME or XP ;-)

Comments from others that are considering going (or have tried going) in the
    same direction are also welcome.

    Cheers,

    Brian
