    You want to rebuild the desktop file on that floppy..bet it's corrupted.
    The easiest way to do it is to mount it on a PC, set your view to show all
    files, and delete the Desktop DB and Desktop DF (IIRC) folders from the
    floppy, then remount it on the Mac.
