    Hello

We just switched our network over to 100mbit. Now one of my NT4.0 servers
is excruciatingly slow when copying files to it (slower than before). The
problem seems to be even worse when copying files from a Macintosh, at one
point Net monitor reported every other frame was getting lost.

I have tried everything I can think of including completely starting over
with a new install of NT server.

. Nic diagnostics claims that the card(s) are running at 100mbit full
duplex and are functioning properly (I've tried 3 different NICs).

.The sniffer claims that the port and the cable are working at 100mbit

.The server is running sp6 though I have tried sp5 because it fixed an
    similar SFM problem.

. I tried configuring the card for 100mbit instead of auto negotiation.

Has anybody seen this problem before or have any suggestions for what else
    I could try?

    Thanks
    Jeff Thomas
