    There's the problem but I'm not sure what the solution might be. If
    every workstation is slower, even PCs then maybe look at the hub/switch.
     Even one computer on older cat 3 wire trying to use 100mbps could slow
    things down. All 100mbps must be on cat 5 wiring. You were probably
    right to turn off the auto negotiate. I've had problems with that too.
    You may need to do that on individual workstations, not just the server.

    I know that's not a lot of help but is about the only thing I can think
    of as it sounds like you've done a fairly complete check of the entire
    system already. All I can say now is let us know what happens.
