            I don't know what W2K incorporates, but I suspect it's
    probably the same old PPTP support that NT4 did. If you want to go
    that route, then the only game in town for the MacOS is TunnelBuilder
    from NTS.

            Another option is the hardware & software from Compatible
    Systems. It's used by such companies as Apple, Adobe and Microsoft
    for their VPN needs - so you know it works and it scales well. the
    MacUI is a bit flakey, but once you get used to it, it's fine.

            And the final option is to look into IPSec implementations.
    Although many folks claim IPSec support, not everyone is a full
    implementation and not all are compatible. You probably want to go
    with hardware from someone like Cisco, and then software like PGPNet
    (part of PGP 6.x and later).
