I've been using an 850NE at work for the better part of a year now without
any significant problems. Not many PC users print to it but the Mac users
that do like it. It was an easy set up out of the box. Sometimes the first
page takes a while to print but it's a small annoyance. For large print
jobs, I send them to a laser printer. The Epson is fine for small jobs.
Color is excellent and I've only replaced the ink cartridges twice. I'd buy
another Epson based on my experience with this one.
We also have an large format Epson Color Stylus 1160 (parallel connection to
a single PC) and several Epson 740 USB printers that have performed well.
