    I'm not too sure about the specifics of Mac OS versions and memory
    requirements but, if your need is for a web broswer and _not_ all the
    additional bells and whistles that the full Communicator install
    offers, you might want to look at just Netscape Navigator as a
    standalone product.

    The latest standalone version of this (that I recall, anyway), was
    4.0.8. And the last stable version I can remember is 3.0.4.

    You should be able to find both from Pure Mac
    <http://www.pure-mac.com/>. From the site's front page, look for a
    page on browsers.
