        Dear Tom,

        The short answer to all of your questions is Yes.

        Essentially, when you're using something like Photoshop the thread
dispatcher will load up one CPU with the given filter you're running, while
the other CPU is handling everything else, including housekeeping. Just
make sure you have a SCSI disk system with the hard drive on its own SCSI
channel.
