        PageMaker will import a PDF file, as will Quark (assuming
that you have the latest set of XTensions). For Word, however your
out of luck.

        That will also work just fine....

        That's because TIFF's are BITMAP images - NOT vector images
like PDF/EPS/PICT/WMF.
