actually, I think that if you must use EPS, then TIFF is the best preview,
it works okay on both platforms. Picts don't do so well on windows, and WMF
is a bad idea, as you have a vector preview of a vector format, and it can
get REALLY weird...

I think leonard's PDF idea is probably the best.
