Yes, you're right for final, high quality output. But, for seeing in
general how the image looks and for letterhead via word processor, the
preview should work fine. The trick is how to get that preview in both
OS's, i.e. both a PICt and a WMF/tiff (I've forgotten for the moment
which format is used for the preview in Windows -- I believe it depends
on the program).
