I have worked with Mac and Wintel computers and peripherals for years
and I don't know anyone who has had the kind of problems with drivers
and the Mac OS that you imply. Maybe you would have better results
if you exercised more care in selecting products that are ready for
market and avoid beta versions. Reputable vendors have drivers that
are written according to specs and will thrive even with changes in the
Mac OS. Or maybe my experiences are the exception. I have noticed that
drivers for MS products don't necessarily need a new version of the OS
to break.
