Dan,

You *invite* the smartass in us all. I've been monitoring this list for
about 6 months (and posting rarely) and I've seen you countless times do a
diservice to the people you claim to be helping by needlessly complicating
and arguing trivial issues (as they pertain to the original question). I'
ve watched you browbeat people to the point that I think they must run
away from this list screaming - and that's not right.

Anyone who hosts a list deserves to be treated with a little more respect
than you've shown Marc. He may have been a smartass to you, he may have
been wrong. But after witnessing your general behaviour and demeanor on
this list, I'd have to say you likely had it coming. If you expect anyone
to ever cut you any slack, then start walking the walk.

You flame me in private *or* public, if the mood strikes me, I'll post
your reply to every list I can think of. You want to threaten copyright
infringement? Have your legal department send mine a C&D.

I too hope the list turns back to technical discussion. I'd like to be
confident that I can open your posts to find useful, non-argumentative
information. Because I know you're a smart guy and you have a lot to
offer.

I apologize to the other listas for the waste... And Marc, if you read
this, thanks for hosting the list dude - I've received many a useful tip
here! Good luck in the future. Cheers.
