[WinMac] Global Address list disappears in Outlook 8.2.1 on Mac?

I'm the second Mac user to experience this problem wityh Outlook 8.2.1
Microsoft Exchange Server Edition. The GAL is gone! I can reply to a
message (it takes a long time to send) but I cannot see the GAL under
Tools, neither can I send e-mail to anyone in the company. HAs anyone see
this?

PS: Has anyone figured out how to navigate the M'soft site to find updates??
