Go to TCP-IP control panel and turn on DHCP server. Under options have DHCP
selected to turn on at start up this will make the startup process much
faster. Also make sure apple talk is set for the ethernet. The alternative
would be to reeserve a couple of TCP/IP addresses and give your mac's static
addresses.

I've set up a network of 10 Windows and about 30 MAC's no problems at all
with either platform and DHCP ser ver.
