Not to be too simplistic, but have you checked the memory allocation and
availability? Did you install the 8.2 upgrade and not re-allocate
additional memory or something like that? Could Virtual Memory (or
RamDoubler) have been turned off?

I'm not hands on enough with the Outlook environment to help further but
I do want to install 8.2 at our church shortly.
