[WinMac] LPR problem from the Mac and the fix

Just a tidbit to those of you having your Macs print to an Unix based
LPR server:

If you are printing to a Unix LPR Print server, esp. a Solaris Server
running NIS+, MAKE SURE that all of your Macs are in the DNS table and
the NIS+ host table. If not, the print server will reject your print
job, due to "unknown host", and the Mac will refuse to print from ANY
lpr printer. The only notification on the Mac side is that the Desktop
printers will print the first job, and then queue all subsequent jobs,
but none will be processed. Upon a restart, the first job will print,
and any subsequent jobs will remain queued, as the first job causes the
print server error. I have reported this to Apple Developer Tech
support, so this can be fixed in Sonata, and maybe a patch issued for
8.6/8.5.X, et al.
