Dan,

The ASIP 6.2 upgrade solves many of problems with 6.1.1 (most especially the
LPR print server bug... no more crashes every 4 days...yeah!!). Also ASIP
6.2 adds some cool new features. My favorite is the new additions to the
anti-spam feature of the mail server like the use of the Real Time Black
Hole list (sweet).

However, the PowerPoint bug has not been fixed. This is simply because it
is not an Apple bug, but a Microsoft bug. PowerPoint has problems writing
and reading files from any NOS, not just ASIP. The only work around is to
save the file locally, then copy it manually to the server.

Does anyone know if this bug was fixed in Office 2000? I am just curious, I
will not be upgrading our site until for at least one year.
