[WinMac] Proxy server

        I have been asked by a client to find out about an issue he has
with his Mac's and their NT Proxy server. Every time they go to a page via
Explorer it asks for a user name and password. Even if you have remember
password checked, the box will still come up. When he clicks ok, the page
he wants appears. Sometimes it even comes up during a download of the page.

        Is this a Mac setting, a Proxy setting or a bug. The pc's don't do it!!

        Any ideas would be most welcome.
