        Good evening, Brian!

        If you want to assure that your hardware is Y2k compliant, look at the
BIOS screen and see in the date field if the year is 2 or 4 digits, i.e. is
the date 03/29/99 or 03/29/1999.

        This in no guarantee of Y2k compliance, but it's a start. If the year in
the BIOS only has 2 digits, don't despair: Sometimes you can download a
FlashROM BIOS update (All Compaq's can do this).

        Also, if your OS is Y2k compliant, then you'll also be OK. NT4 Service
Pack 4 allegedly fixed Y2k problems... Your mileage may vary.
