I just bought a used IBM Aptiva, model 154 with a Pentium processor for a
price that I simply couldn't refuse ($210) with HP printer, monitor,
speakers, etc. What are the areas that it needs to be checked for Y2K
compatibility? I believe that the BIOS, processor and programs need to be
checked but how? Any recomendations? I have tried taking the machine to a
couple of PC techies down here in Turkey, where I am stationed, but it is
impossible to get anyone to give me a straight answer. This is my first
PC, so please be as specific as you can in your advice.
