Hi everyone,

I thought I'd share with you some comments from a systems
support manager who recently unsubscribed:

1. "I've been subscribing to the list since its inception. Whilst
most people on the list are very helpful & knowledgeable, it was my
understanding that the list was set up to help people who encountered
problems trying to integrate Macs in a PC environment or vice versa.
It hasn't turned out that way - what with people using the list as a
place for getting information about making a hardware choice, or just
deciding to publicly bash their least favourite platform."

2. "I also take objection to the way one certain individual (who
shall remain nameless) has decided to make the list his platform for
embarking on a personal crusade for the advancement of NT on Alpha,
at the expense of everything else (particularly Apple
hardware/software/policy/grammar/spelling/humour/dress code/smell
etc.). Bearly a week goes by without [name omitted] (okay, he didn't
remain nameless for long) imposing his opinion on the list about
another problem he has with Steve Jobs' "evil empire".

I have been receiving similar comments for some time, so I
ask that you abide by the list rules which you received. No jokes.
Consistent infringement will result in individuals being blocked from
posting to the list.

        --Marc
