I have heard many graphic artists say that Quark is the
greatest thing since sliced bread. I have also heard just as many
graphic artists say that PageMaker is the greatest thing since sliced
bread.

Based on the huge number of people who have told me that they
love one of the two programs and can't stand using the other one I'm
forced to conclude that they are both great programs and that each
one is better for different people and everyone should evaluate both
of them because they both have strengths and the only person who can
decide which is the best for your purposes is you.

I'm not a graphic artist by any stretch of the imagination.
I'm a support person.
