I tried using tools/check now as Dan suggested. My machine gets to the
blue screen, starts checking the drive, finishes, reports some bad
clusters and freezes. I've done this a number of times but it always
freezes at the same screen. Now I can't even get into NT to try my
network backup!!!!

Than, in my book, sucks!

Now, I need a utility that will allow me to format from DOS an NTFS
partition (NTFSDOS doesn't see it) anyone know of such a thing?

Between this an what happened at work (NT just dying on me, I think I've
sen enough).
