        Actually, I've seen USB ports on Pentium Pro machines since 1996... But I
agree wholeheartedly that the mfr's needed a swift kick in the a** to start
building peripherals for it... Nonwithstanding the very public crash of
Bill Gates' laptop during a windoze 98 demo last summer while he was
hot-plugging a(n) USB scanner...

        Serves him right -- Trying to foist windoze 98 off on the public! :)
