There could be many reasons for excluding a floppy drive (but making fast
ethernet standard). Could it also be Steve's desire to be the man driving
a paradigm shift across the industry, or even the world, towards fellow
board member Larry Ellison's network computing model?

Or maybe John Warnock cut a deal in order to gain market share by way of
Quark's floppy install? Or maybe it was all HAL's idea??? ;-)
