The mystery slot (aka "mezzanine slot") found on the 233Mhz iMacs is gone
from the multi-color 266Mhz iMacs. Nevertheless at least one company made a
3d video card for it. I doubt anyone else will invest the time and effort
for a slot that appears only on a single model computer.

What do iMac owners need with SCSI or FireWire? Is a first-time computer
owner going to fill up the internal hard drive or edit video? I don't think
so. And remember what the "i" stands for. Like almost everyone else they're
also not going to back up their files. If they do a USB Zip or SuperDisk is
easily large enough (we're talking personal files, not the whole hard drive).
