High end graphics users don't have files anywhere near small enough to
fit on a floppy. Maybe text files or something. Those blue and white G3s
have no floppy, only Zip. So what you saw was probably the Zip drive, it
is standard on many of them. If you look at the pictures of the low end
model, it has NO slot that looks like a floppy or Zip. Actually, a floppy
isn't even a listed option at the Apple Store, although there are
different floppy drives available.
