I found, a long time ago, _somewhere_, a small IP utility that would do
just that. (big help, I know :-(

I'll scrounge around. It might be somewhere on my hard drives a home.
Alternately you could go digging through either the Info-Mac, UMich or
AzMug archives (all reachable at various places on the net...I usually
hit wuarchive.wustl.edu first for anything, but I'm an old fart and
stuck in my ways. Tucows (www.tucows.com) might have something in their
IP utilities somewhere, too.
