[WinMac] Find File Problems

We have an NT 4 SP3 server running SFM on a 77 GB volume with about 25,000
files.

Mac users are finding when they attempt to do find files on this volume,
that certain files are showing up twice in their queries.

It also seems the more specific their queries, the more accurate their
search results. If they do a find for a specific filename, it will show up
accurately. If they do more general searches, the duplicate files will
start showing up.

Are there just too many files on this volume? All the clients seeing this
problem are running 8.1 or 8.5.1.

Anyone else seen anything similar?
