I think the PDF file only contains all the fonts required if the creator
of the PDF chose to include them. I ran across a similar thing where the
creator was using a Windows only font (Marlett) and NOT including it in
the PDF file. When printed from the Mac from Acrobat reader, the printer
would choke on this font and not even try a substitution.
