        RecoverNT *may* work.

NTFSDOS, by Mark Russinovich and Bryce Cogswell. And it works nicely.
<http://www.sysinternals.com/ntfs20.htm>. These guys REALLY know their
NTFS stuff, inside and out. I used NTFSDOS v1.3 on my parents' old pee-cee
last year while I was migrating them to NT... And it worked flawlessly.
Check out the Web page for this, and you'll see the enhancement and bug fix
list. When using v1.3, I didn't even see any of the bugs.

[As an aside, I tried to convince the authors last year to come up with a
MacOS version to read & write to NTFS partitions. Actually, this would be
quite easy because of the "Foreign File Access" shell application. MachTen
used this shell for reading & writing to unix volumes, and all it would
take is writing the document (like the ISO-9660 and High Sierra documents)
to control Foreign File Access. Now if only I could use Native Transaction
File System with the MacOS...]
