        Dear Ron,

I gave myself a $1300 birthday present 3 1/2 years ago when I bought my
first (and still only!) CD recorder from Granite Digital -- A Ricoh 1060.
And it paid for itself within the first two weeks when I performed a
complete archive (at $9 per disk).

And of the hundreds of CD's I've burned on many different Macs -- From a
IIci up to a G3 -- I've only turned about 3 disks into drink coasters
(Power failure, SCSI cable voodoo, and one unknown).

This is one area where the Mac -- And Toast Pro -- excels in performance,
compatibility, and ease of use.

        Cheers!
        Dan
