No, they shouldn't switch. Keep those Macs -> here's why:

a) Learning curve -> your artists will hate learning the new system
(artists generally don't like that).

b) Colorsync -> if you do color stuff, nearly all Mac Graphics
applications use this so that you can get reliable color output. PC apps
all seem to use different things.

c) Printing -> printing happens much more reliably from a mac, and with
design work, that's essential. This is partly due to the prevalence of
Postscript, the graphics language that most printers use. It works very
well on the Mac because it's build right into the OS. It works OK on a
PC, and is definitely not built in.

d) File formats -> if you're doing a newsletter, you're most likely going
to be getting stuff from the outside to work on as well as in-house
stuff. And, while working with PC files on a Mac is easy, working on Mac
files on a PC is a pain.

e) Productivity -> many studies have shown that productivity, especially
in the graphics files, is better on the Mac (no flames please, questions
acceptable though).
