Let me clarify, Microsoft only provides CDs in the ISO format as far as I know.
That is, data files. You need a different format to boot. Perhaps your vendor
of choice has their own CD supplied with the system - we just use the regular
MS stuff.

Maybe we use different definitions of bootable? See, I'd like to do a bit more
with NT than just look at the CLI when I boot. Run apps, do things in the regular
GUI interface (I'm not much of a CLI jock unfortunately).

That's what a true bootable CD should do. Hey if need be, I'd even like to be
able to boot up and type email while running off the CD.

As a matter of fact, I do. The Japanese version of NT4 - finally with SP4!

Could also have something to do with the fact that I need to run a bunch of
different web browsers and other apps to test comaptibilities and as a result
I probably install/uninstall more frequently than most.

I probably could start a WinNT-J with WinNT-E troubleshooting list if I
wanted. MS sadly can't make the two language versions run together w/o
problems.
Throw in the Mac/NT issues and it'd be a rather small list here in the US ;-)
I also use Mac-J as well as Mac-E but those OSs play happier together.

Finally, where are the Win9x:ers on this list?
