I don't think there are any freeware programs in this category but I think
there is some shareware. Be careful of what types of files you're
transferring. I think that even if you copy files "directly" from the CD to
the zip disk the resource forks will still be stripped off the files. No
big deal for .gifs or Word documents, disasterous for programs and other
files which depend upon their resource forks.

So what you're trying to do is install Mac software on a Mac which has no
CD-ROM but does have a Zip drive? I think you may have the resource fork
problem I mentioned.
