Yep. However, Windows uses the names rather than hidden codes like the
Mac's type/creator codes. This means you may have to open the files from
within the app instead of just double-clicking the file. In the open
dialog box you can specify what type of files to look for, you may have
to change it to All Files or *.* to find Mac files. Otherwise, you would
have to change all the names of the files. There are utilities that can
do this. I believe one is named "A Better Finder Rename" on the Mac, but
I don't actually use it so I can't say much more about it.

I'm not sure renaming all these files to appear to be old versions is the
best route. I think I would just remember to use the Open dialog to find
the files.
