[WinMac] Win-Mac ASCII conversion

ASCII codes above 128 are different on Mac and Windows, so when I export
records from a FileMaker database to tab-delimited text, what I get for
accented characters depends on the platform used for the export.

What I need to do is export from a Windows machine in a text format that a
Mac user can read, including all the accents.

Does anyone know of a way to do this, or some conversion program that can
handle it?
