[WinMac] IP conflict with itself?

Hi all,

I've got a PowerMac 7200 that reports an "IP conflict with the machine
at...", which would be OK except that the hardware address corresponds to
the machine itself. It's running Open Transport 1.1.2 under Mac OS 7.6.1,
and it is getting its IP address from a NetWare 4 DHCP server (latest
version - I think it's revision P).

I tried downing the server, deleting/recreating it in the DHCP tables,
deleting the AppleShare/ASLM/TCP/IP preferences; the only thing that worked
was to give it a different IP address on the DHCP server. I'm kinda
baffled... has anyone else run into this?

TIA,
