[WinMac] TokenRing + Virtual PC = ???

My apologies if this subject has been covered before.
I need to fit a Mac into an all-PC TokenRing network. The user doesn't necessarily require access to the network from the MacOS, but they use some Windows-based software which must access the network. Can Virtual PC drive a PCI-based TokenRing card? If so, does it need to be Apple's card or can I use any PCI card? The info from Connectix talks extensively about Ethernet but not TokenRing.
I may also need to drive an HP combination fax/printer/scanner etc from this machine, which I gather has no direct Mac support. Again, it doesn't matter if they can't access this directly from the MacOS. Does anyone have any experience driving this (or a similar) piece of equipment under Virtual PC? My understanding is that I can connect a JetDirect (ethernet) adapter to the HP and Virtual PC will do the rest via ethernet?
The MacOS side of this machine's operation will be quite focussed - it doesn't necessarily require any access to the network or other services. This connectivity would be a plus, but I primarily want all their computer services running in one box. If it only works under Virtual PC, then that's fine - as long as it does work.
Thanks,
Ralph.
