We also run a mixed Mac - NT environment (no Win9x)

We have tried many different solutions for NT - with equally
disappointing results. Many email servers for NT are pretty
unstable in our opinion - no names.

We're now running a FreeBSD email server which has been
bulletproof - not a second down in over a year. Not fun to
administer though ;-(

When we have about $10K to burn we'd like to go with LSMTP
for NT.

This is THE best email server for NT - very fast and stable - is
LSMTP from http://www.lsoft.com/ according to my highly
opinionated and skilled IT manager.
