We've also connected our LW 12/640 to a WinNT machine using a parallell
cable, AppleTalk (to printer) and Printer Sharing via ethernet to the
other PCs. It works just fine even though someone is using the WinNT
machine as his personal computer at the same time (most likely as we're not
printing huge amounts).

However, before settling on this (cheapest option) we first tried ...
- the above option but using ethernet instead of a parallell cable to
connect the WinNT and the printer. It only worked from time to time. Any
one know why ?
- setting up a Novel network as suggested in the manual, but it was to complex
- CopsTalk which worked fine, but costs too much
- giving the printer a specific IP and sending our printouts there, but it
didn't work with large documents, and there were no messages if the
printout failed.
