RE: [WinMac] NT/Mac print problems

        Dear Daniel,

        I keep combining messages to keep the thread together! :)

        Here's the scoop:

        1) Adding more memory to the LWSelect 360 will speed it up, and make it
more stable. This is true for any PostScript printer. Period.

        2) If you desire to use NT's print spooler, then you set the ASCII
transmission preferences on the Macs themselves in their Print Dialog boxes;

        3) If memory serves me correctly (it's been >2 years since I've opened a
360!) you do indeed need to pull the two screws by the ports to get to the
printer logic board. But *please* use an anti-static wrist band! Anyway, the
logic board is under the top plastic cover, so be careful not to break the
plastic side tabs.

        Give the 16 MB SIMM a try -- Plug it in and see what happens!

        Yours truly,
        Dan Schwartz
